We are delighted to announce UCC postgraduate student, Kayne Coy, as the recipient of this year’s Consairtín Student Research Bursary, in association with the Irish Traditional Music Archive. Kayne will present the results of his research,‘Mapping Archival Recordings of Concertina Players’ on the opening night of the festival, Thursday 24th April, in the Old Ground Hotel, Ennis.
Here’s a taste of the magical music that will be heard at our gala concert in glór on Saturday 26th April at 8pm. The Irish Concertina Orchestra, Music Generation Clare Concert Orchestra and NOTIFY, under the baton of Cormac McCarthy. Full details here
